Is your child currently experiencing moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis flare-ups? Local Crohn’s disease medical research study is testing a potential new medication to see if it may reduce joint pain, unexplained weight loss, rectal pain, frequent fevers, and/or joint pain associated with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis.

Your child may be eligible for one of the GI studies if they are 2‒17 years of age, have been diagnosed with moderate to severe UC or CD, and have previously received treatment for UC or CD that has not worked.
By joining the GI studies, your child may receive:
- Compensation for study-related time
- Reimbursement for study-related travel
- Study-related care from local doctors
- Study medication at no cost
