Is your child currently experiencing ulcerative colitis (UC) flare-ups? Local CD clinical research is testing a potential new medication to see if it may reduce abdominal pain or cramping, mouth sores, bloody stool, malnutrition, and/or eye pain associated with ulcerative colitis (UC).
If you’re concerned about how ulcerative colitis (UC) affects your child’s life, find out more about the CD clinical research.
Your child may be eligible for one of the GI studies if they are 2‒17 years of age, have been diagnosed with moderate to severe UC or CD, and have previously received treatment for UC or CD that has not worked.
By joining the GI studies, your child may receive:
- Compensation for study-related time
- Reimbursement for study-related travel
- Study-related care from local doctors
- Study medication at no cost
Health insurance is not required to take part.
