If you are seeking a potential treatment option to relieve your chronic itch (pruritus) related to eczema, consider joining the KIND Study.
You may qualify for the KIND Study if you:
- Are between 18 and 80 years old
- Have active eczema
- Have had moderate to severe pruritus (itchy skin) for more than 6 weeks
- If you are interested in participating, the study team will review additional study criteria with you.
- Qualified participants will receive study-related care at no cost.
What’s involved with study participation?
The KIND Study will involve 7 in-person visits to a local study center over the course of about 21 weeks. Participants will be trained in the use of an e-diary to complete self-assessments when the study begins and will undergo a variety of health exams and tests during each visit.
How long is this research study?
The total duration of the study is approximately 21 weeks.
What is the medication being tested?
This study involves an investigational medication that will be taken in tablet form twice a day.
What about my current medications?
Do not discontinue any medication unless you are advised to do so by the study center staff or your primary care physician.
Does participating in this study cost me anything?
There is no cost to you for participating in the study.
