Is your child currently experiencing moderate to severe UC flare-ups? Local clinical research is testing a potential new medication to see if it may reduce urgency to defecate, inflammation of the bowel or intestine, constant need to poop, frequent fevers, and/or liver disease associated with moderate to severe UC.
If you’re concerned about how moderate to severe UC affects your child’s life, find out more about the clinical research.
Your child may be eligible for one of the GI studies if they are 2‒17 years of age, have been diagnosed with moderate to severe UC or CD, and have previously received treatment for UC or CD that has not worked.
By joining the GI studies, your child may receive:
- Compensation for study-related time
- Reimbursement for study-related travel
- Study-related care from local doctors
- Study medication at no cost
Health insurance is not required to take part.
