Local clinical research is testing a potential new medication to see if it may reduce rectal pain, growth failure, constant need to poop, weight loss, and/or anemia associated with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis.

Your child may be eligible for one of the GI studies if they are 2‒17 years of age, have been diagnosed with moderate to severe UC or CD, and have previously received treatment for UC or CD that has not worked.
