INDICATION (DISEASE)

about the study

Is your child currently experiencing moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis flare-ups? Local CD research is testing a potential new medication to see if it may reduce chronic diarrhea, persistent diarrhea, rectal pain, frequent fevers, and/or anemia associated with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis.
If you’re concerned about how moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis affects your child’s life, find out more about the CD research.

Your child may be eligible for one of the GI studies if they are 2‒17 years of age, have been diagnosed with moderate to severe UC or CD, and have previously received treatment for UC or CD that has not worked.

By joining the GI studies, your child may receive:

  • Compensation for study-related time
  • Reimbursement for study-related travel
  • Study-related care from local doctors
  • Study medication at no cost

Health insurance is not required to take part.
