Chronic Hives Clinical Trial Hub

Phase 3 EMBARQ-COLDU and SD Study

Living With Itchy, Painful Hives?

A Research Study for Cold-Induced Urticaria (ColdU) and Symptomatic Dermographism (SD) Is Enrolling

For adults living with chronic hives, symptoms like burning, itching, swelling, and pain can feel overwhelming. Everyday triggers – such as cold temperatures or even simple skin rubbing – often bring on flare-ups. Standard treatments, like daily antihistamines, may not provide enough relief.

The EMBARQ Study for cold-induced urticaria (ColdU) and symptomatic dermographism (SD) is now enrolling volunteers. This research study is evaluating the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication, given by injection, for people living with these conditions.

You may receive:

·       Study-related evaluations at no cost

·       Access to investigational study product(s) and study care (if eligible)

·       Compensation for time and travel (if applicable)

This page provides general information about clinical trials related to this condition. It includes details about research studies, eligibility requirements, and a short screening form that may help determine whether you could qualify for a study.

Clinical research studies evaluate investigational treatments and are conducted under strict safety and ethical guidelines. Participation in any study is completely voluntary, and not everyone who completes a screening form will qualify.
