INDICATION (DISEASE)

about the study

Is your child currently experiencing Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis flare-ups? Local Crohn’s disease research is testing a potential new medication to see if it may reduce painful joints, mouth sores, rectal pain, malnutrition, and/or canker sores associated with Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis.
If you’re concerned about how Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis affects your child’s life, find out more about the Crohn’s disease research.

Your child may be eligible for one of the GI studies if they are 2‒17 years of age, have been diagnosed with moderate to severe UC or CD, and have previously received treatment for UC or CD that has not worked.

By joining the GI studies, your child may receive:

  • Compensation for study-related time
  • Reimbursement for study-related travel
  • Study-related care from local doctors
  • Study medication at no cost

Health insurance is not required to take part.
