Researchers are looking for safe and effective birth control options for healthy women, including those with a higher body mass index (BMI).

The Empower Study is now enrolling women in the area to help research a potential new progestin-only contraceptive patch you apply once a week.

To be eligible for the Empower Study, you need to be a healthy woman 16 to 35 years of age, sexually active, wish to prevent pregnancy for at least 12 months, and have a BMI greater or equal to 30.
